In these times of mass consumer objects, we think wealth is the accumulation of “stuff,” oblivious to how such shoddiness ends up being mirrored in our own character. ![]() It becomes a means to developing your character and a check on ignoble behavior. It also got me thinking about an aspect of old-world craftsmanship that I think is overlooked by most people today… when you possess a functional work of art such as this, you aspire to be worthy of possessing it. The details are what get my mind spinning and thinking of the possibilities for my own work. Just a quick note to say I stopped by the site and love the new pieces you have up for sale. These are simply excerpts from correspondences with buyers that I found to be particularly interesting, entertaining or moving.
